United Facilities, Inc. provides warehousing, logistics, and distribution services for all types of organizations that require advanced third-party logistics and supply chain solutions. In 1953, United Facilities was officially founded when two brothers, H.D. and A.W. Altorfer, bought their first 125,000 SF warehouse. The brothers quickly realized that integrating inventory at certain points and shipping it directly to customers turned a profit. This innovation paved a path for the brothers to establish one of the nation’s first multiyear warehouse contracts, which would later become United Facilities.  

WIELAND is proud to have maintained a 30+ year relationship with United Facilities and has completed numerous projects over that span. WIELAND completed the original 360,000 SF warehouse in Orlando, FL, in October 2004, and began construction on an addition in early 2021. The project is a 78,750 SF tilt wall warehouse expansion completed in January 2022, and is the second project WIELAND has completed for United Facilities in the last two years.
