Company update

St. James Catholic Church

WIELAND recently completed renovations at St. James Catholic Church, enhancing both its Parish Hall and the exterior courtyard to better serve the downtown Orlando community. Designed by Houseman Architecture, LLC and built by WIELAND, the project began in fall 2023 and was turned over to the Diocese of Orlando in September 2024. Initially founded in 1880 as part of the Diocese of St. Augustine, St. James later became the central church of the Diocese of Orlando in 1978. WIELAND holds a rich history with the Diocese, completing past projects such as Most Precious Blood in Oviedo and Holy Cross Catholic Church in Orlando. Although this is a smaller renovation, WIELAND is proud to deliver its third successful project to the Diocese, strengthening its connection with the Orlando Community.
