Irvine United Congregational Church

Irvine United Congregational Church (IUCC) was formed by the Church Development Commission of the Southern California Conference of the UCC in 1979. The church is a proudly progressive church seeks to pursue environmental justice through caring for creating and seeking justice for the oppressed.

In 2012, IUCC contacted Domusstudio Architecture to begin drawing up a plan for a newly developed campus. Domus provided a three-phase plan that would be completed over several years. WIELAND began construction on this phase in 2017 and completed the newly renovated, 2,500 SF building in June 2018.

“We found (WIELAND) incredibly responsive to and respectful of our needs and concerns, helping to alleviate our congregation’s anxiety about the inconvenience that is an inevitability with construction,” stated Anne Rosse, Chair, “We were especially grateful for their respect of our budgetary constraints, working to deliver the best product possible for our dollars.”
