WIELAND is near completion on Authentix Suncoast, a multi-family development in Hernando County, FL. The property is owned by Milwaukee-based Continental Properties and features 264 units conveniently located ten minutes from the Gulf of Mexico. The project began in March 2022 and is substantially completed. WIELAND previously built Continental’s 288-unit Springs at Posner project in Davenport, FL, in 2021.
In 2019, WIELAND completed the SET-SEG office building located in East Lansing, MI. The School Employers Trust (SET) founded its partner organization, the School Employers Group (SEG), to provide worker’s compensation and property/casualty services. Since merging, SET-SEG has focused on offering comprehensive and affordable employee benefit solutions to Michigan public schools. The office space was designed by Studio Intrigue Architects and totals 32,000 SF.
WIELAND is proud to share its ongoing progress on the Magna Electric Vehicle Structures (M.E.V.S) Phase II plant in St. Clair, MI. WIELAND completed the 370,000 SF Phase I plant in January 2022, and soon after, broke ground on the 744,000 SF Phase II addition. The original plant houses Magna’s battery enclosure line while Phase II provides greater e-coating and production capabilities, along with extra warehouse storage. WIELAND commenced construction in July 2022, and projects to finish the project in late spring 2024.

#TBT to when WIELAND completed the Eaton Community Bank’s headquarters renovation in Charlotte, MI. WIELAND worked with Grand Rapids-based Integrated Architecture to complete the 16,750 SF project. Added to the existing office space were conference and training rooms, employee offices, and a central work café. WIELAND began work in July 2021 and completed the renovation in April 2022.

This program was hosted by the Plain Dealing High School Alumni Association to connect current students with industry professionals and to help them gain insights into various careers and education paths. #TBT: WIELAND completed Beacon Soccer Field in 2015. Beacon Field is a Lansing owned community park that invites both Lansing natives and the budding international community to come play soccer. Built in downtown Lansing, the park is open 24 hours a day, and features an LED lit turf field. WIELAND is proud to share its work on the previously completed Beacon Field!

Procore is an industry-leading construction management software, designed to help construction professionals efficiently manage projects from start to finish. WIELAND joined numerous city, civic, and community leaders on Friday, September 15th for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the recently completed Play Michigan playground in downtown Lansing. WIELAND was the Construction Manager and was cited for its excellent work on the $3.2 million+ playground park on the downtown Lansing riverfront. Play Michigan is the first universally accessible playground in the region, designed to promote inclusivity and the health and well-being of ALL children.
WIELAND was thrilled to join The Port of Caddo-Bossier and other local dignitaries today, September 12, 2023, for the groundbreaking of the new 40,000-square-foot Port of Caddo-Bossier Heavy-Load Warehouse. WIELAND has started the initial groundwork, and the plans call for the warehouse to open early next summer. The warehouse sits behind the Port’s newly constructed 100,000-square-foot warehouse, which opened in June 2022. The new warehouse will add to the 310,000 square feet currently leased by Odyssey Logistics, LLC at the Port of Caddo-Bossier, where it stores products for other Port tenants. #WIELANDbuilds

WIELAND recently completed Performance Proppants’ newest 1.7 million SF facility, Sunny Point. Sunny Point, which is situated on 43-acres, will mine 45 million tons of frac sand from an oxbow lake off the Red River. WIELAND previously completed Performance Proppants’ Merryville location in 2022 and are proud to have them as repeat clients.
