School Employers Trust (SET) is a non-profit company that was founded in 1971. In 1973, SET founded a partner organization, the School Employers Group (SEG). SEG was formed to provide workers’ compensation and property/casualty services for Michigan public schools.

Now combined, SET-SEG focuses on offering comprehensive and affordable employee benefit solutions to Michigan public schools and their employees.
