Greenstone Farm Credit Services (GFCS) is the organization that takes care of farmers so they can take care of America. GFCS is the sixth-largest association in the national Farm Credit System, and it needed a headquarters commensurate with its current and future growth.
The facility is an example of modern architecture coupled with conservative, agrarian values. With 77,000 SF of open, modern space spread across three levels, the design features natural stone elements and a vaulted reception area. On the third floor, a massive executive conference room overlooks a majestic oak tree and oversees Highway 127 north of downtown Lansing. The barreled roof and exterior elements suggest a modern barn structure, but are still stylish and elegant.
“I think the best compliment anyone can give to a business is repeat business,” stated GFCS CEO Dave Armstrong. “While our new corporate office project (was) the first with Wieland, we have already contracted with them for numerous additional buildings across the Midwest.”
