    Magna Seating Phase II

    Wieland is dedicated to finding and serving lifelong clients. In 2011, Wieland completed construction on the 140,000SF Magna Seating building in Shepherdsville, KY. Magna Seating is a branch of Magna International Inc., a global automotive supplier, which creates automotive seating systems and structures. Wieland has started Phase II of the project, a 70,000SF, $5M addition.

    Milan Free Methodist Church

    Wieland began working at the Milan Free Methodist Church in July, taking over for a previous contractor in order to help complete the 7,000 SF project. The church is expected to be completed in December, 2016 and will feature a large sanctuary and commons area, a new storefront entrance, and a stage.

    Herbrucks Poultry Farm

    Construction began on April 4th in Topeka, IN on the Herbrucks Poultry Farm. Herbrucks is one of the largest organic poultry farms in the country with over 1.7M organic laying hens. Wieland is working with the local Amish work force, as a part of the subcontractor team, to build an agricultural decontamination building with a conventional wood framed structure. The building is 13,000 SF at a cost of $2.2M and is planned for completion next month.

    Willoughby Estates

    Work has just begun in Lansing’s Delhi Township (MI), where Wieland is building another exciting multi-family project. Check out this virtual tour of Willoughby Estates, which will include 269 units, as well as other unique amenities. This development is set for completion in January, 2018

    YMCA

    Construction continues on the 57,000 SF YMCA building in Shreveport, LA. The entire YMCA campus, which is located on E. Preston Avenue in Shreveport, will include a 50-meter competition swimming pool and tournament style Little League baseball fields and soccer fields. WIELAND anticipates project completion in October 2016.

    AFS Logistics

    WIELAND is in its final stages of construction on the AFS Logistics office building in Shreveport, LA. This 51,000 SF facility will feature 2.5 stories of new office space and will provide AFS employees with a more efficient and collaborative workplace.

    Spartan Motors

    Work is underway in Charlotte, MI, where Wieland has started its latest project for Spartan Motors. Wieland is constructing an 85,000 SF building on the Spartan Motors campus, which will include 5,000 SF of office, 30,000 SF of warehouse and 50,000 SF of assembly space. The space will aid in Spartan Motor’s Joint Venture with Isuzu Motors. Wieland has completed over 10 projects for Spartan Motors over the past decade.

    The WIELAND drone captured this areal photo of the progress on Lansing Catholic High School’s new football field and track. WIELAND will assist in this multi-million dollar project over the summer, with completion set for fall kickoff, 2016.

    ENR Top 400

    WIELAND is pleased to announce that it has once again made Engineering News Record’s (ENR) Top 400 Construction Companies list. ENR annually ranks the top firms based on annual revenue from the previous year. WIELAND ranked No. 246, the first time it has cracked the Top 250. “We are thrilled to hit this new milestone,” said WIELAND President Craig Wieland. “We are grateful, first to our customers, and secondly to our employees who worked so hard to make this happen.”

    First Baptist Church

    Work continues at The First Baptist Church in Portland, MI. The church was partially destroyed by a tornado that struck in the summer of 2015. Today, WIELAND completed the reinstallation of the church bell in the bell tower. WIELAND will continue to oversee restoration efforts throughout the spring.
