    Briggs District Library Grand Opening

    Briggs Grand Opening

Not every project receives the same level of community attention as the Briggs District Library renovation in St. Johns, MI. This transformation addressed the library’s overcrowding issues, revitalizing a space that had remained unchanged for nearly 30 years. Now, the library offers a welcoming environment for residents of all ages, featuring areas for group learning, 3D printing, a dedicated children’s space complete with a rock tunnel, and even spaces for learning musical instruments like the violin.

The grand opening was a night of reconnection – neighbors met and mingled while rediscovering this renewed hub of innovation. WIELAND takes pride in every project, but seeing the community embrace the Briggs District Library Grand Opening made this one especially meaningful. The team is honored to have delivered a space that will enrich St. Johns for years to come.

    Amanda Canfield’s 25th Anniversary

    Amanda Canfield Anniversary

Join WIELAND in celebrating Amanda Canfield’s 25th Anniversary!

Amanda began her journey by earning an associate’s degree in accounting from Lansing Community College before transferring to Davenport University, where she completed her bachelor’s in accounting. After graduating, she launched her career in the banking industry – until recently retired CFO Maureen DeVota made her an offer she couldn’t refuse. In a quasi-bank heist move, Amanda received a job offer on a slip of paper, inviting her to join the WIELAND team.

Since coming aboard in 2000, Amanda has been an integral part of the WIELAND family. Her caring and outgoing personality has driven her involvement in Junior Achievement, the Ingham County Animal Clinic, and as a founding member of the WIELAND Culture Club. Recently, Amanda was promoted to Controller, stepping into a leadership role years after her unexpected “hold-up” at the bank.

Thank you, Amanda, for 25 incredible years of dedication, leadership, and a personality that lights up the office. We are grateful to have you as part of the WIELAND team!
