The project is made up of three retail/restaurant spaces (27,700 SF), 78 apartment units (69,300 SF) and one parking structure (21,100 SF). The new build is located on the Boardman River with a view of the Grand Traverse Bay. The development will consist of four buildings; a mill, a OCC, a boiler house and a finished goods warehouse, totaling 350,000 SF. WIELAND is closing in on completing the Mosaic at Oak Creek project in Bonita Springs, FL. The multi-family garden style apartment complex will consist of a clubhouse, 10 residential buildings and one mixed-use buildings totaling 137,725 SF. In late May The Orlando Businesses Journal published its ranking of Central Florida general contractors with a national presence based upon each company’s locally-generated 2019 revenue. WIELAND made the list again as one of Central Florida’s top general contractor, ranking #13 with local revenue of $68 million. DID YOU KNOW… WIELAND is adding features like dog-washing stations to many of its multi-family developments. The Mosaic at Oak Creek multi-family development is one of these projects with a dog washing station, kayak launch, pool and pool table. The project is located in Bonita Springs, FL and is expected to be completed in April 2020.
#TBT WIELAND is proud of the work it has done in the manufacturing sector. The Dicastal North America facility in Greenville, MI is one of these projects. The development consisted of a 550,000 SF renovation and an 80,000 SF addition onto the existing building. WIELAND partnered with Hobbs + Black Architects to design the development and it was completed in Jan 2017.
DID YOU KNOW… WIELAND constructed a state-of-the-art, 105,000 SF ammunition manufacturing facility for RIO Ammunition in Marshall Texas. The building was specifically designed for shotgun shell production and safety. The facility has the capacity to manufacture more than 1.2 million shotgun shells per day.
WIELAND is working toward completing The Cardinal multi-family project in Forest Acres, SC. The residential and retail development consists of four retail buildings (43,000 SF), 246 apartment units (312,000 SF), 10 townhomes (11,000 SF) and a 5-story parking garage with 639 parking spots (159,000 SF). The project began in June 2018 and is expected to be completed in March 2020.
DID YOU KNOW… Over the past 62 years WIELAND has specialized in industrial and manufacturing projects. One of these projects is the Aerojet Rocketdyne facility in Camden, Arkansas. The development is a new Large Solid Rocket Motor Development Complex made up of two, single-story industrial buildings. WIELAND is providing and installing High Pressure Boilers, Air Compressors, Vacuum Pumps. Humidifiers, a Jib Crane, a Slinger Crane and Industrial Ovens.
WIELAND is continuing construction in Wesley Chapel, FL on the Parc at Wesley Chapel multi-family project. The project is four apartment buildings and a clubhouse totaling 257,250 SF. The 248-apartment unit complex includes a pool, grill areas, and a smart home system in every unit. The project is expected to be completed in May 2020

Pratt Paper is one of the top five largest packaging companies in America and is dedicated to sustainability by using 100% recycled paper.
WIELAND is hard at work for repeat client Auto-Owners Insurance on its new Regional Office in Lakeland, FL. The 37,000 SF office was designed by Mayotte Group Architects of Lansing, MI. The project began in September 2018 and is expected to be completed in 1Q 2020.
DID YOU KNOW… WIELAND specializes in complicated industrial and manufacturing facilities and has built many across the US. WIELAND renovated several sections of the World War II era Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant for EXPAL USA, a company that develops demilitarization operations for ministries of defense. WIELAND added concrete foundations, concrete blast containment, structural steel for the building and manufacturing equipment, specialized ventilation systems, electrical systems and controls.
