Performance Proppants is a privately owned, sand mining company formed in 2016, and has quickly become a leader in producing frac sand for drilling operators in Texas and Louisiana. The company focuses on providing reliable and cost-effective proppant services. The new facility in Merryville contains a 1,200-acre deposit that will add an additional 20 million tons of frac sand for operations.

Performance Proppants is a repeat client for WIELAND. The Merryville location is fitted with three TecTank-CP Silos that provide 9,000 tons of storage, with three truck load-out lanes to the facility. The Merryville facility spans 38 acres and was completed in July 2022.
