PetSmart, Inc. is the largest specialty pet retailer of services and solutions for the lifetime needs of pets. PetSmart has over 1,400 locations in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.  Wieland has been engaged in several building projects for them, normally with the retail developer who leases space to PetSmart.

For the Okemos location, Wieland was able to work with local developer Eyde Corporation, assisting in getting through site plan review in Meridian Township, and helping provide cost data to bring the project into compliance.

Upon completion of the 30,500 SF store, the management of Eyde wrote:  “(We) would like to say thank you from all of us at Eyde Company for a job well done.  It was truly a pleasure to work with Wieland on the construction of our new PetSmart building here in Okemos.  We would most certainly recommend Wieland for any future needs.”
