Ferris State VFS Chiller Replacement
After 22 years of service, it’s time for a chiller upgrade at Ferris State University‘s Victor F. Spathelf Allied Health Center! The previous chiller, which had been in service for over 20 years without replacement, has now been retired. The Ferris State VFS chiller replacement will generate chilled water that circulates through the building’s coils, absorbing heat and maintaining a comfortable indoor environment.
Chillers are known for their exceptional reliability – as demonstrated by the decades-long performance of the unit – and offer superior energy and cost efficiency compared to split or packaged systems. Although this work largely takes place behind the scenes, it will have a significant impact on the daily experience of both students and faculty in the Allied Health programs once WIELAND completes the Ferris State VFS chiller replacement project later this June.
