Goodwill was founded in 1902 by Reverend Edgar J. Helms, a Methodist minister from Boston, MA. Since its founding, Goodwill has been dedicated to being environmentally and socially responsible through the collection and repair of used goods. This 25,000 SF store is the second Goodwill retail store in Kissimmee and the fifth store to open in Central Florida since 2020.

Lawrence Gaboury, Vice President of Real Estate and Construction for Goodwill, said, “From problem solving to Value Engineering, (WIELAND was) always there to assist and offer insight and solutions. The Osceola project was one of the cleanest and best run sites we have been involved with.  It was a reflection of the importance that WIELAND put into the safety of both their employees and everybody that worked at the site.”

WIELAND worked with KLPN Studio Architects on the the project, which broke ground in February 2022 and was completed in August of the same year.
